THE MINISTRY DEPARTMENTS
The responsibilities of the regional departments of the Ministry of Education and Sports of Serbia, pertain to pedagogical supervision and inspection, financing, IT and relevant executive tasks as followed:
- pedagogical supervision in preschools, elementary and secondary schools;
- assessing the fulfillment of conditions for the work of elementary and secondary schools;
- undertaking administrative measures under the responsibility of MoES
- giving opinions and proposals to the competent Ministry sectors concerning curricula improvement and professional training of teachers;
- controlling appliance and observance of criteria and standards for the allocation of resources to elementary and secondary schools, higher schools and faculties, to boarding schools, dormitories and campuses, monitoring the finance and material indicators of these institutions under regional department responsibility, and the finance management.
